Hello,my name is Damjan Pejcinoski and I am a guitar player born in 25th of October 1984 in Ohrid, Macedonia. I started playing guitar at age of 6 but my real interest about guitar playing began when I was fourteen. I have finished primary and secondary school in my born town.I was playing rock music in clubs influenced by Deep Purple,AC/DC,Whitesnake,Steve Vai,Joe Satriani,Frank Gambale,Greg Howe and many more. In 2002 me and my band “Warning” participated at “Rock Fest” festival for young talents and I won the “Best guitarist” reward which was given to me by the legendary Macedonian guitar player Vlatko Stefanovski.In 2003 I attended the National Musical Academy “Pantcho Vladigherov”, Jazz department in Sofia,Bulgaria where I was accepted with full scholarship. In 2004 I formed a band called Jump Start with Goran Gesovski on bas,Borce Kostadinov on sax and Mitko Stojanov on drums. Latter Mitko left the band and the legendary Bulgarian drummer and composer Hristo Yotzov (Theodosi Spasov Trio) join the band. We had concerts in Bulgaria and Macedonia performing jazz fusion music. Today members are:me on guitars,Goran Gesovski-bas and Jordan Manov-drums.We took a part at "Skopje summer festival" (10th of July 2007). November 2007 I graduated the Milcho Leviev's Masterclass called "Jazz Improvisations".I had the opportunity to work with one of the world renomed genious jazz players. ( www.milcholeviev.net ) With the trio I'll be performing at "Ohrid Summer Festival"-2008. Currenly I'm on a post-graduate studies in Sofia-Bulgaria.
