Crazy Steps was formed in 2007 as a part of the R Point organisation. They are from the outskirts of Belgrade. Many of them are at school together. The older boys teach and encourage the younger boys, this combination works well. R Point is a British non-profit organisation whose aim is to reduce the feelings of prejudice felt towards the Roma community, which leads to discrimination in the workplace and ostracism in education. R Point does this by giving Roma youth a voice through music, dance, and theatre workshops and performances. They write their own lyrics and music and choreograph their own dance steps. Since their first public performance at SKC in Belgrade, they have also performed at Akademija nightclub in Belgrade, Romart Festival, Subotica, Belgrade Sajam, and other venues throughout Serbia including Exit 2007, bringing a new and refreshing sound to the Roma and Rap scene. There are some great voices here and fantastic dancing.
