Boris Milićević je jedan od retkih koji se javno zauzeo za prava LGBT ljudi u Srbiji. Veoma hrabar čovek, Elektranin veliki prijatelj. Ali što ume da đuuuska! A tek muziku da puuušta! Pa njegove žurke, pa Loud and Queer, pa vi ne biste ni sumnjali da je loš provod da ga znate. Ako ste spremni da đuskate, nedelja je dan za vas!

On je tvorac a oni su pioniri stejdža! Inspirisan potrebom za Elektrana stejdžom, napravio ga je. Tek tako! I onda mu to nije bilo dosta pa je počeo da pušta muziku. I to radi mnogo dobro! Hello I am Lag and now I will write about myself in third person to make it look like I'm worthy enough that someone other than me writes my bio. He was born in Unga-Bunga and despite the handicapp (100% deaf in one ear), war (oh, his seen war), the pleague (his village was hit by the pleague really hard in the 18th century) he has become one of the leading artists in his street. He has managed to became a DJ (just like 3.4 million other DJs BUT HE IS OH SO SPECIAL) and now he plays music for the occasional tap on the back. http://soundcloud.com/lag/lag-plasticni-dunav His dayjob at the shoe shop keeps him away from becoming the most famous DJ ever, but he is still trying hard. He is now working in his studio (PENTIUM 1 with old Casio speakers VINTAGE FTW) and you can expect his new album to come out sometime in the very very distant future. Pesma se, naravno, zove "Spalim ti rotkvu, uvalim ti motku (2009. edit re-remix)". Dok ne kreira sopstvene press fotke na kojima stoji uz žbun šipka prekrštenih ruku i kroz sunčane naočari noću gleda u daljinu, ovaj Majdanpečanin uživa u zagrljajima, fotonima i palatalizaciji. Alexander Robotnick aka Maurizio Dami is an Italian music producer.
This sentence is a gross simplification of a lifetimes work that leads to an artist becoming more than just current, but rather, legendary status. His bio & discography is a lengthy one that reads like a who's who of Electronic music, fashion and film. Early collaborations with Daniele Trambusti, Stefano Fuochi and Materiali Sonori brought him to the attention of the music scene after his departure from his band Avid but it was his release "Problèmes d'amour" that gained him breakthrough notoriety. Klaus Nora with her rytham machine 606, bass gytuar and loop station is founder of  NO WAY genre a.k.a. NO WAY BABE. She started making and recording when she was 15y old. Raised on Breeders, Big Black, Slint and Cane, she didn't publish any album, but she is putting an effort to release one dly EP every 6 months. From which every next is more and more sounding minimal, but more complex in its structure. She moved to Amsterdam 2 years ago where she continues to make music with a dream of multitasking, production, recording, making music, visual part/design, and all of that were and is being created by her own hands.
In Amsterdam she is a part of Futur Island band, and interesting thing is that she is also right hand of support to English multiinstrumentalist Max Tundra. NAVIGATORZ is a music team from Belgrade, Nebojsa from popular indie electro band INTRUDER and Bole of independent label AMMONITE records, they producing beats, grooves, and they are a great DJ team and soundsystem as well. They have been working together for five years. They were playing at the best clubs in Belgrade, and they had a time to work on their own tracks as well as remixes of tunes by other performers! With the great response to their gigs, tracks and remixes (many of them being played at prime time radio shows and in other DJ’s sets), the team is now working more than ever, the fresh Navigatorz EP will be released worldwide.
 
For the second season running, the duo has been hosting the NAVIGATOR FRESHLIST!! radio show at Elektrana Radio station (http://radio.elektrana.net), playing the freshest music from around the globe... Through the years NAVIGATORZ  team DJs have been DJing throughout the region at clubs and festivals and prestigious fashion shows (led by Armani jeans, TAKEAWAY FASHION event, etc) Later in 2011. Navigatorz are scheduled for performing at Oslo (Norway), but before that they will play at EXIT festival 2011!

NAVIGATORZ je Beogradska muzička ekipa, Nebojše (pripadnika populanog indie electro benda Intruder) i Boleta (člana nezavisnog labela Ammonite Recordsa), koja se bavi produkcijom bita i gruva, DJingom i sonudsistemom. Rade zajedno već 5 godina. Nastupali su po raznim poznatim Beogradskim klubovima, a pored svega toga imali su vremena da rade na sopstvenim trakama i remixima drugih izvođača! Veliki odaziv na njihove žurke, kao i setove i remixe (koji su bili puštani na raznim radio stanicama i korišćeni u tuđim DJ setovima, motvisao ih je da sakupe svoj materijal i izdaju EP. When you say Futurecop! (and yes, it's written with exclamation mark) it reminds you of twentyfive minute cartoon. One of those retro cartoons that our networks stole and aired on saturdays when we were youngsters.
When I was young, saturdays used to start with My Little Pony, followed by pop drama Jam and the Holograms and after that boys time and Transformers (the real square ones), G.I. Joe, Robotech, Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs, Voltron and other animated adventures.
When you're listening to Futurecop!
It is as if you're listening to parallel soundtrack of these cartoons.
And not just those cartoons.
They would also add flight of the Navigator, Never-ending Story, Thundercats, Karate Kid, Back to the Future, Electric dreams and bunch of the others, timeless pop products of the 80's. Their music is fiercely insipred by that period, but scraped through some kind of smooth and so recognisable note of theirs.
Once you're cought by their seductive synth, you won't even notice that you are swinging and at the same time smiling without any reason in particular. Honestly. And when they are doing remixes, they give them that melancholic charm, dosed by taste of joyfull nostalgy. Since we are in domen of interesting facts, we will share with you that these guys were first booked for Elektrana, and in e-mail search I've found one from 2009. that contains offer for Futurecop! on Exit at that year. Promoter said:
"Futurecop! - I don't know who they are, but I'm currently listening to them and the music is genious.". Grand finale of Elektrana is expecting us at Sunday 10th of July when Futurecop!, with reinforced composition, will land on stage and open the time portal.
Kada kažete Futurecop! (da da, sa sve uzvičnikom se piše njihovo ime) pomislite da je u pitanju dvadesetpetominutni crtani film. Jedan od onih kada smo bili mali a naše televizije ih krale i puštale subotom.
Kada sam ja bio mali, subota je počinjala sa My Little Pony, zatim pop drama Jam and the Holograms a nakon toga boys time i Transformersi (oni pravi, kockasti), G.I. Joe, Robotech, Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs, Voltron i ostale animirane avanture.
Kada slušate Futurecop! to je kao da preslušavate paralelni soundtrack ovih crtaća.
I ne samo njih.
Oni bi tu dodali i Navigatorov let, Beskrajnu priču, Thundercats, Karate Kid, Povratak u budućnost, Električni snovi i gomilu drugih, vavremenskih pop plodova osamdesetih.
 
Njihova muzika je žestoko inspirisana tim periodom, ali provučeno kroz neku njihovu pitku i tako prepoznatljivu notu.
Kada vas jednom uhvate svojim zavodljivim sintom, nećete ni primetiti da se njišete a istovremeno i bezrazložno smešite. Stvarno. A kad rade remixe, opet im daju taj svoj melanholični šmek, doziran ukusom radosne nostalgije. Eto, poslušajte The Naked And Famous - Young Blood (Futurecop! Remix) i da vidimo da li sam u pravu. Kada su se Manzur Iqbal and Peter Carrol našli negde 2007. i sklopili Futurecop! u plesnu, retro electro jedinicu, postalo je jasno da će podijumi širom planete biti pod zaštitom galaktičkog policajca.
Pošto smo već u domenu zanimljivih podatka, podelićemo sa vama da su ovi momci bili prvi bukirani za Elektranu a u pretrazi emailova sam naišao i na jedan iz 2009. godine u kom nam nude Futurecop! za nastup na tadašnjem Exitu. Reči promotera:
"Futurecop! - Ne znam ko su, ali upravo slušam i muzika je genijalna". Veliko finale Elektrane očekuje nas u nedelju, 10. jula kada će Futurecop! u pojačanom sastavu sleteti na binu i otvoriti vremensku kapiju.

We, Elektrana people love colorfull things, the more u mix it up, thats better!
It's not all messy salad if you know what goes with what and how to put it together.
And this young gentleman is one very fine music cook, a chef with aesthetic taste for mixing differences together. You could say that he spins very specific sets, from Hip Hop over dirty French electro all the way to dubstep which blends into glitch. The most interesting thing is that his producution isn't very predictable. You think that his going to play something, and then he suprises you with something much better!
He knows exactly where to click! He released his first single when he was only 20 years old!
It's name was 747.
Totally Boingish! This year he's totally committed to production, so don't be suprised if some EP finds its way into public. http://soundcloud.com/yeahleft/yeah-left-sticky Pointing out DJ Premier as person who had biggest impact on his music development, all of his later works are, more or less, product of long-term self-analysis and attempt to fit his vision of Hip Hop with modern electronics, creating fusion which defines hes genre best. If you thought that he's a weekend DJ, well he's not! Although he has many performs on hes résumé, he still picks them with dose of sophistication.

Nije sve kupus salata ako znaš šta sa čime ide i kako se to uklapa.
A ovaj mladi gospodin, je jedan veoma dobar muzički spravljač iliti kuvar sa istančanim ukusom za sklapanje različitosti. Moglo bi se reći za njega da vrti veoma specifične setove, od hip hopa preko prljavog francuskog elektra, pa sve do dubstepa koji se pretapa u gltch. I najzanimljivije je to što njegova produkcija nije baš predvidiva. Vi mislite sad će pustiti nešto a kad ono nije to već nešto mnooogooo bolje!
Tačno zna gde da klikne! Svoj prvi singl izdao je kad je imao samo 20. godina!

Isticuci DJ Premiera kao osobu koja je imala najveci uticaj na njegov muzicki razvoj, svi kasniji radovi su manje-više produkt dugogodišnje samoanalize i pokušaja da svoju viziju hip hopa uklopi sa modernom elektronikom, stvarajuci fuziju koja ga nadalje žanrovski najbolje definiše. Iako iza sebe ima mnoštvo nastupa, ipak ih bira sa dozom sofisticiranosti.
A najdraži mu je bio, kako sam kaže, nastup na prošlogodišnjem Exit Festivalu. Petak 8. jul, Elektrana stage Exit festival. Yeah Left!

Michel Amato aka the Hacker was born in Grenoble (France) just in time to feel the adrenaline of synth music of the 80’ş which he was fascinated with immediately. In early stage of his childhood he spotted music video “Depeche Mode - Shake The Disease” on the TV and he knew that this  is what he wants to do in his life.
    
During the weekends, dressed in black, he used to go out in new-wave clubs in Grenoble where he discovered underground music which wasn’t possible to hear on radio or tv stations in France at the time. Tracks which he liked the most were mainly performed by Front 242, The Neon Judgement, Nitzer Ebb, DAF and EBM in general. Soon the music scene of Grenoble couldn`t satisfy his appetite so he and his friends start the search for fun. They found it in the epicenter of events - Belgian night clubs. At the end of the 80’s he played in new-wave band, and later 1991. he started his own production wich remind of techno at that time. That was the beginning of THE HACKER. In 95, he lowers the bpm but not the energy. Under the name The Hacker he makes his own music in a classic Detroit style with Jeff Mills in mind. His first tracks are released on Ozone and Interface. Three years later he found his own label Goodlife Records (a classic track from Inner City) with his friends Oxia and Alex Reynaud. During the 90’s he started to cooperate with Miss Kitiin and music wich thay created was consisted of parts of Kraftwerk, New Order, Neon Judgment. 1996. they published their first EP Champagne! for German label runned by DJ Hell - GIGOLO records. The song Frank Sinatra was major hit. From that point everything started. With GIGOLO impery they had showl all over the word. Miss Kittin was dressed as dominant nurse and The Hacker cold as ice. At the beginning of Electroclash direction 2001. they become hype worldwide. After the U.S. tour they decided to make a brake. He returns to his own production and remixes for performers such as: Mark Almond, Fisherspooner, Air and Nitzer Ebb etc. First album “Melodies En Sous-Sol” pusblished 2000. for Goodlife is influenced by New Order and Dopplereffekta.
His second album “Reves Mecaniques” is published 2004. for Different and PIAS rec. Four years later PIAS and Goodlife published Live performans disc of  “Reves Mecaniques” named ”X” with extras (52min long documentary movie about The Hacker’s career and cooperation with many artists such as: DJ Hell, Miss Kittin, Oxia, Kiko, Terence Fixmer etc.)
Miss Kittin and The Hacker reestablished their cooperation 2009. They published their second album named “TWO” for the record label Nobody’s Bizzness owned by Miss Kittin.
At the end of 2009. he started his own label named ZONE. The Hacker / Mishel Amato is one of the most talented innovative franch musician when electro/tehno is served. Elektrana has an honor to present THE HACKER whos double school class will be held first day of EXIT festival at ELEKTRANA stage right after his young colleague Gesaffelstein.

Vikendima obučen u crno izlazio je u new-wave klub u Grenoblu gde je otkrio underground muziku koju je bilo nemoguće čuti na RTV stranicama u Francuskoj. Numere zbog kojih je prilazio DJ pultu i raspitivao za naziv bile su od bendova Front 242, The Neon Judgement, Nitzer Ebb, DAF uglavnom EBM. Brzo se zasitio menia koji je pružaio Grenobl, te je sa društvom provod tražio u epicentru dešavanja u to vreme -Belgijskim klubovima. Krajem 80ih svirao je u new-wave bendu, a 1991. kreće sa sopstvenom produkcijom koja je u to vreme podsećala na techno. To je ujedno bio i početak The Hackera.   1995. Smanjuje BPM ali ne i energiju,  i njegove pesme pravi u klasik Detroit stilu sa Jeff Millsom na umu. Prve pesme izdaje za Ozone i Interface a tri godine kasnije pokrece svoju muzicku etiketu Goodlife Records (Inner City – Goodlife) sa njegova dva drugara Oxiom i Alex Reynaudom. Sredinom 90ih započinje saradnju sa Miss Kittin i muzika koju su stvarali sadržala je segmente Kraftwerk-a, New Order-a..Neon Judgment-a. 1998. izdaju svoj prvi EP Champagne! za Nemačku diskografsku kucu koju je vodio DJ Hell GIGOLO records. Pesma Frank Sinatra je bila veliki hit! I tad je sve krenulo jer su zajedno sa GIGOLO imperijom nastupali širom sveta gde se Miss Kittin pojavljivala kao dominantna medicinska sestra a Hacker je bio hladan kao led. Početkom Electroclash pravca 2001. godine postali su  hype širom sveta, a nakon U.S. turneje Mishel i Caroline su odlučili da naprave pauzu. Hacker se vratio svojoj produkciji i remiksima za izvođače kao što su: Mark Almond, Fisherspooner, Air and Nitzer Ebb... Prvi album “Melodies En Sous-Sol” (Melodije u podrumu) objavljen je 2000.godine za Goodlife, tu se mogu jasno prepoznati uticaji New Ordera i Dopplereffekta.
Drugi njegov album “Reves Mecaniques” (mehanički snovi) izdat je 2004.godine za Different i PIAS rec. Da bi nakon 4godine za PIAS i Goodlife izdao njegovu live izvedbu albuma Reves Mecaniques pod nazivom ”X” a na tom disku se nalazi još i 52minuta dokumentarnog filma koji predstavlja summa summarum Hakerovih 10godina karijere i saradnja sa mnogim umetnicima kao sto su: DJ Hell, Miss Kittin, Oxia, Kiko, Terence Fixmer i drugi... 2009. godine The Hacker i Miss Kittin obnavljaju saradnju i izdaju svoj drugi album pod nazivom “TWO” i izdaju ga za etiketu Nobody’s Bizzness koju vodi Miss Kittin, album je pratila i turneja širom sveta. A na kraju 2009.godine pokrece etiketu pod nazivom ZONE
The Hacker / Mishel Amato je jedan od najtalentovanihih i najinovativnijih francuskih muzicara kada je elektro/tehno žanr u piranju. Even being from different places,ciies and music tastes, this duo was brought together by common need. Need for change on dominant music scene in small country of Serbia. Šiz Tirkiz i Altertainment will perform at Exit festival on Elektrana stage and everyone will have fun! She's pretty and he's tall. Dušan i Maja. Belgrade folks. ŠizTirkiz. They like to bounce and because of that they have need for others to bounce with them. They solved it nicely - radio show on Elektrana Radio and everyone's shakin' their gluteal curves on other side of screen :) At Exit they will perform July 9th and if you wanna know what they playin, hear me sayin' - anything from music for porn's to the one u hear in supermarkets while u'r waitinig in a line for a milk. Its as interesting as it sounds. I swear it! Altertainment are rocking together 3rd year in a row now, spreading indie pop alternative sounds all across Novi Sad, and sometimes in a neighborhood. As hosts of the homonymous show at Elektrana Radio, they've announced that they actualy multiply themselves, so instead of 2, there are sometimes up to 5 people in 3 countries on 2 continents working on 1 show. (who knows what they're eatting for breakfast?! :) Promptness of their blog has a very interesting  features. There u can find novelties from alternative indie world, also all of those old forgotten tracks we all like, but dont even realise it. From new Bon Iver's album over Gang Gang Dance, my favourite House Jam hit, to track list of Bilja's show "Popsuknja". HEMENDEX  formed in autumn of 2008, consists of  hard working drones from Croatia fixated on fusing analog and digital synthetic sounds with distorted string instruments to create something someone in 1983 might imagine as pop music from the near future. The symbol of Hemendex is a hexagon, and three fellow Naranča, Miro i Dino that hexagon sees as a bee hive, in which they work together like bees where everyone has a same responsibility, and because of their perfectionism, final product of high quality will will surely find its way into consumer's Technics turntable or a playlist in Winamp. Supported by VJing along with a strong visual identity in their live performances band leaves a good critique. After playing a string of live shows with bands such as Ladytron, Handsome Furs and The Young Gods, the band self-released its first 7" record, entitled "Reset 1", and and plans to release the follow up EP "Reset 2" at the fall of 2011. Meanwhile, you can enjoy their free compilation of live recordings "Life is not a soundcheck Vol. 1" HEMENDEX  je nastao u jesen 2008. i čini ga kolektiv marljivih radilica sa svih krajeva Hrvatske koji se voli igrati sa spajanjem analognih/digitalnih sintetičkih zvukova s distorziranim gitarama, nastojeći pritom stvoriti nešto što bi osoba iz sada davnih osamdesetih zamišljala kao radijsku pop glazbu iz bliske budućnosti. Simbol Hemendexa je hexagon, a tri drugara Naranča, Miro i Dino taj heksagon poimaju kao saće u kome oni funkcionišu zajedno kao pčelice gde svako svašta radi i svako ima svoje zaduženje, i uzeći u obzir njihov perfekcionizam konačni proizvod od visokog kvaliteta će lagano naći put do potrošačevog technics gramofina ili playliste u winampu. 1.Your name Marsheaux sounds very French, what is the origin of it?
We combined the first syllables of our names Marianthi and Sophie and we added a French “touch” when we wrote it. While pronouncing it, the name sounded very French and we loved it immediately.

2.You have been present on the music scene for a long time, what do you see when you look behind?
We don’t feel like being in the music scene for a long time, actually we feel like a novice. We started at 2003 as music lovers, not as professionals and we haven’t stop learning since then. When we look behind we can’t believe how easier our life would have been with an ipad. 3.What has helped you the most for the people outside Greece to recognize you?
Internet of course. Myspace at first, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter gave to people all over the world, access to our music. Internet is one of the most valuable assets for musicians worldwide.

4. Is electro pop, music like yours popular in Greece?
No.80% of the music that people listen to our country is local repertoire. Although people have baptized this 80% “pop” music, it actually is more “folk” and “ethnic”. Electro pop does not exist in Greece for most of the people, we are very few bands and artists trying to get people into it, but it is very difficult with very little support from specific media. 5.Have the two of you ever considered leaving Greece to pursue worldwide career?
Yes. We have thought about it many times, but Greece is such a beautiful place to live in and it makes the decision harder to take. We are still thinking about it especially with that crisis. 6.Do they ever compare you to somebody from the world scene?
Oh yes. With lots of artists and bands we admire like Client, Ladytron and older bands like OMD or Human League. 7.Who has influenced your work and sound, from the world scene?
It’s a huge list, we’ll name a few, like Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Cabaret Voltaire, Human League, OMD, DURAN DURAN, Gary Numan, Sparks, Giorgio Moroder, Massive Attack, Orbital, Royksopp and many many more. 8.You have made your version of legendary hit Popcorn , do you have a wish to do some other song and which one?
Again a huge list. There are so many songs that we love and we want to cover them. That is why we did some more covers like “Promise” by When In Rome or “Pure” by Lightning Seeds and a few others. Usually we do covers when we want to have fun and relax at the studio, we did many covers but we never released them. 9.According to you what is the greatest eighties hit, since we hear recognizable influence of this period in your work?

Maybe Eurythmics “Sweet Dreams” or Yazoo ”Don’t Go “ or OMD “If You Leave” or Human League “Don’t You Want Me” really can’t choose the list is long. 10.What is your greatest success so far...?

We’d love to work with many people, with all the artists we admire and love their music. 12.What is your music discovery lately?
We’ve just discover Miracles that NME calls an “artier Hurts”, and we can’t stop listening the new Mirrors. Also we liked Naked And Famous and Cults 13.How and when have you heard about Exit festival?
People that love music know most of the music festivals, especially the ones that are very close to their country. We first heard about Exit in 2004 when we were searching where to see Goldfrapp play live near Greece. We were about to come but something happened and we canceled the last minute. 14.How much your performance at Elektrana Stage would mean to you?
It is a very important performance for us. We ‘ve never played in such a big festival, with so many big names before. We are very happy to be there and especially at Elektrana Stage which we think is the most appropriate for the kind of music we perform. 15.Are you preparing something special for the audience at you Elektrana performance?
We are working on something but we can’t tell, that would spoil the surprise! 16.Which of your songs should people hear-if they hadn’t already, before they come to concert and why?
They should listen to all our songs!
They should start with “Computer Love” cause it is one of our first songs and is the best way to get into our music.
“Dream Of A Disco” cause it is one of our biggest hits and we love playing it live.
“Breakthrough” cause it is from our last album so they would have an idea of what it is. 17."Can you Stop me " is you new single, when will you publish your new album?
“Can You stop Me” might not be in the album, we don’t know yet. We hope our new album will be ready after summer, it maybe ready in October. 18. What is the first thing that comes to you mind when you think about Novi Sad and why are you looking forward to coming to out town?
The first thing that comes to our mind is the images of the city that was cruelly bombed in 1999 and people in the shelters. It was really heard.EXIT festival is a great opportunity to visit the city. We love music, so it couldn’t be otherwise, it is the biggest festival in the area. We are so looking forward to attend all the days of the festival and to visit the city that we’ve read is the most beautiful city in Serbia. 19.Who makes the final and big decisions when it comes to your career - Sophie or Marianthi?
We both think the same way, we usually don’t even have to discuss about something. It's a silent mutual understanding. 20.Marsheaux after Exit festival?

1.Vaše ime Marsheaux zvuči vrlo francuski, kako je nastalo?
Iskombinovale smo prve slogove naših imena Marianthi i Sophie, a zatim smo dodale malo francuskog “prizvuka” kada smo ga napisale. Dok smo ga izgovarale, ime je zvučalo francuski i odmah nam se svidelo. 2.Već dugo ste na muzičkoj sceni ,šta vidite kada se osvrnete u nazad?
Nemamo osecaj da smo dugo na muzičkoj sceni, osećamo se kao da smo novitet. Započele smo 2003 godine kao fanovi muzike, a ne kao profesionalci i dan danas učimo. Kada pogledmao iza nas, ne možemo da verujemo koliko bi nam zivot bio laksi da smo samo imale Ipod. 3.Šta Vam je najviše pomoglo da ljudi van Grčke saznaju za vas?
Internet, naravno. Prvenstveno Myspace, Facebook, YouTube i Twitter su omogucili pristup nasoj muzici, ljudima sirom sveta. Internet je najvece bogatstvo za sve muzicare sirom sveta.

4.Da li je Grčka zemlja u kojoj je electro pop ,muzika poput vaše popularna?
Ne.
80% muzike koju ljudi slušaju je iz lokalnog repertoara. Iako su ljudi tu vrstu muzike nazvali “pop”, to je više “folk” i “etno”. Electro pop ne postoji u Grčkoj za većinu ljudi, postoji jako malo grupa i umetnika koji pokušavaju da upoznaju ljude sa tom vrstom muzike, ali tesko je uz slabu podrsku specifičnih medija. 5.Da li ste vas dve ikada pomišljale na odlazak van Grčke zbog karijere?
Da. Mislili smo o tome hiljadu puta, ali Grčka je tako lepo mesto za život i to nam otežava da donesemo tu odluku. Jos uvek razmišljamo o tome, posebno sad kad je kriza.

6.Da li vas često porede i sa kim sa svetske muzičke scene?
O da. Porede nas sa dosta umetnika koje i mi volimo kao sto su Client, Ladytron i sa starijim bendovima kao OMD ili Human League. 7.Koje ime sa svetske scene je uticalo na vaš rad, zvuk?
Lista je dugacka, da nabrojimo par, kao sto su Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Cabaret Voltaire, Human League, OMD, DURAN DURAN, Gary Numan, Sparks, Giorgio Moroder, Massive Attack, Orbital, Royksopp i mnogi drugi.

8.Obradile ste legendarni hit Popcorn , da li postoji želja za obradom još neke pesme i koja je to?
Opet dugacak spisak. Postoji puno pesama koje volimo i koje zelimo da obradimo. Zato smo i obradili pesme kao sto su “Promise” od When In Rome i “Pure” od Lightning Seeds i jos neke. Obicno obradjujemo pesme kada zelimo da se zabavimo i opustimo u studiju, uradili smo jos dosta obrada ali nismo ih sve objavili. 9.Koji je po vama najveći hit osamdesetih , s obzirom da je vidljiv uticaj tog muzičkog perioda na vaš rad?
Tesko pitanje.Mozda recimo Eurythmics “Sweet Dreams” ili Yazoo ”Don’t Go “ ili OMD “If You Leave” ili Human League “Don’t You Want Me”, ne mozemo da se odlucimo, dugacka je lista. 10.Koji je Vaš najveći uspeh do sada...?

11.Postoji li neko ime sa muzičke scene sa kojim bi ste volelel da uradite neku pesmu?
Voleli bismo da saradjujemo sa dosta ljudi, sa umetnicima koje postujemo i cuju muziku volimo. 12.Ko je vaše muzičko otkriće u poslednje vreme?
Skoro smo otkrili Miracles koje NME zove “umetnicka verzija Hurts-a” i ne mozemo da prestanemo da slusamo novi Mirrors. Takodje volimo i Naked And Famous i Cults.

13.Kako i kada ste saznale za Exit festival?
Ljudi koje vole nasu muziku znaju za vecinu festivala, posebno oni blizu njihovih zemalja. Prvi put smo čuli za Exit, 2004 godine kada smo tražili da nadjemo gde nastupa grupa Goldfrapp, a da bude blizu Grčke. Trebali smo i da dodjemo, ali nešto se desilo pa smo morali da otkažemo u poslednjem trenutku.

14.Koliko Vam znači nastup na Elektrana Stage-u?
Ovo je jako vazan nastup za nas. Nikada nismo nastupali na tako velikom festivalu sa toliko poznatih imena. Jako smo srecni zbog toga,a posebno zbog Elektrana Stage koji je po nama najadekvatnija pozornica za nasu vrstu muzike. 15.Da li pripremate nešto specijalno za publiku na Elektrani?
Trenutno radimo na necemu, ali ne mozemo da otkrijemo da ne pokvarimo iznenadjenje! 16.Koju vašu pesmu ljudi moraju da čuju ako nisu, pre nego što dođu na koncert i zašto?
Treba da odslusaju sve nase pesme!
Neka pocnu sa “Computer Love” posto je to jedna od nasih prvih pesama i najbolji nacin za uvod u nasu muziku.
“Dream Of A Disco” zato sto je to jedan od nasih najvecih hitova i volimo da je izvodimo uzivo.
“Breakthrough” zato sto je sa naseg poslednjeg albuma pa cisto da bi bili upoznati i sa njom. 17." Can you Stop me " je vaš novi singl, kada će novi album biti izdat?
“Can You stop Me” se ne nalazi na albumu, ne znamo jos. Nadamo se d ace nas novi album biti spreman za jesen, verovatno u oktobru. 18.Šta je prvo na šta pomislite i zbog čega se radujete dolasku u Novi Sad?
Prva stvar na koju pomislimo su slike grada, okrutno bomabardovanog 1999godine i ljudi u sklonistima. Sigurno vam je bilo tesko.
EXIT festival je velika sansa za nas da posetimo vas grad. Volimo muziku, a vas festival je najvecii u regiji. Radujemo se sto cemo prisustvovati svim danima festivala is to ćemo posetiti grad za koji smo čitali da je najlepši grad u Srbiji.

19.Čija je poslednja reč kada su neke bitne odluke o karijeri u pitanju Sophie ili Marianthi?
Obe isto razmisljamo, tako da vecinu stvari ni ne diskutujemo. Sve je vrsta precutnog dogovora. 20.Marsheaux posle Exit festivala?

Let's be honest, we are all poisoned with pop culture. Every day there is more and more music, new bands are being meassured by its relevance, influence on scene, obscurity or lunacy of its name, we all have opinion about each song of each band. And suddenly you have the desire to say "to hell with it" and leave it all behind.
My poison was indie. And antidote: homonymous album of Mikrofisch and their undeniable hit single: "The Kids Are All Shite". (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4x73IPGV2rE ) And then the whole new world of songs which delt with all the problems of a modern lassie who had too much time to spare or with arrogance to afford some, opened. From "Bad Hair Days", over "I Never Get Much Sleep On Weekdays", all untill ultimately romantically nostalgic "Lets Kiss And Listen To Biss". It's not all about the lyrics. Their music is perfect match of well thought lyrics, synths, gentle electro-pop and above all, endlessly entertaining show ( I really do wanna see them wrapped up in that tin-foil on typical Exit's +30ºC). After Berlin's indie pop days in September last years, it was rumored that they were new favorites of twee pop scene... You know what? I'll be working on this Exit Festival. Probably I won't have a chance to see any of it. Except one. For it I will create time. I'll be in first row with my sister. I have several wishes, hope they fulfill them all :/ „We’re the twenty-somethings we’re the part time punks, we get our records from e-bay and our clothes from H&M. Svaki dan dolazi sve više i više muzike, novi bendovi mere se po svojoj relevantnosti, uticaju na scenu, opskurnosti ili suludosti naziva, svi imamo Mišljenje o Svakoj pesmi Svakog benda. I tako ti najednom dođe da sve to batališ i oteraš do đavola i ustalom dokle više?
Moj otrov je bio indi. A antidot: istoimeni album Mikrofisch i njihov nepobitni hit "The Kids Are All Shite". A onda se otvorio čitav novi svet pesama koje su se bavile svim problemima koje ima jedan savremen curetak sa viškom slobodnog vremena ili bar sa drskošću da stvori sebi slobodnog vremena. Njihova muzika je savršeni spoj promišljenih tekstova, sintova, nežnog electro popa i pre svega, beskrajno zabavnog nastupa (e baš da ih vidim zavijene u onu alu-foliju na klasičnih exitovskih +30°C). A posle berlinskih indie pop days u septembru prošle godine danima se pričalo kako su oni novi electro miljenici twee pop scene... Znate šta? Ja ću raditi na ovom Exitu. Verovatno neću biti u prilici da vidim nijedan koncert od početka do kraja. Sem jednog. Znam za koji ću da stvorim vremena. Biću u prvom redu sa sestrom. And ofc if you wanna to know what Den Haan means google it :P Andy was the one who aswered the questions, but Matthew  were there we are sure. It smell like him in some answers :) 1. How much attention are you giving to radio stations and charts? A: To be honest we don’t pay that much attention at all but we can certainly see the value in it as gives our music a chance to be heard by people who wouldn’t normally listen to us. We are big fans of DJ Charts as it’s a great way for not so well known artists to get much needed exposure.

2. What pleases you more to hear on the radio, your remix of other artists songs, or someone's remix of your songs? A: Not too fussed, it’s just exciting to hear anything that you’ve played a part of getting an airing.

3. We heard from your fans that "Gods From Outer Space" it's very specific album. What do you think, why is that? A: Well initially the Album began life as a story and all the tracks were tied into this, in the end though we decided to abandon that idea and let the songs speak for themselves. However the sense of a journey must still linger if people are getting that feeling. 4. If you were not Englishman, what nationality would you be? A: Were not English, so we are quite happy to remain Scottish! 5.We heard what Den Haan means on Dutch, is that true? A: Yes it’s true! 6. And for you, Den Haan is?

A: Not taking yourself too seriously and not being afraid to embrace the ridiculous! 7. What is mainstream for you? A: Mainstream to us, is the most popular, the least offensive, the most homogenized, the most paranoid  of not being cool, its diluted to suit the masses, basically its doesn’t have balls! 8. Would you like to become mainstream? A: We would like to increase our fan base but we would also like to keep our balls at the same time. 9.
