As a young teenager listening to the early sounds of U.K. Hardcore and Jungle, broadcasted across the London airwaves via pirate radio stations such as Kool FM, Gareth 2Dark became infected with this music. While he was studying at university in Southampton, 2Dark brought his first set of Technics and quickly learned the art of DJ'ing. This resulted in many gigs playing different styles from Drum and Bass through to Breakbeat, Garage or House. After leaving Southampton 2Dark started the long journey of learning how to produce and attended SAE in London, recently finishing the Audio Engineering Diploma. Currently 2Dark is loving the sound of Tech-house and Minimal and has been collaborating with long-time friend, Swiss producer Klangfrequenz. This has lead to two storming Tech-house tracks on the Out Of Context EP which has been 'doing the rounds' with all the major DJ's over the last few months. 2Dark also DJ's on the internet station Kunninmindz, every Friday 3pm till 5pm GMT, playing the music he loves the most, oldskool hardcore and jungle.
