Janko Prester aka Jan Peters was born in Zagreb, Croatia. His first encounter with electronic music was in his early age when he listened to atmospheric italo-spacesynth tracks included in variety of radio shows and spacy movie soundtracks from the 80's (Blade runner, Miami vice, The Running man). However, his first active involvement in electronic music started at 19 years of age, when he discovered the world of vst instruments and computer music production. First releases came for Turkish Funkfield recordings and for Italian Oryx music. Slowly his tracks started to draw attention from djs, promotors and radio hosts. His track "Cosmonaut" became track of the week on the top belgium dance radio (rotationz.be), and "Starfire" ended up on Cd pool compilation together with atrists like Eric Prydz, Frankie Knucles and also recieved positive review from Lewis Dene. His "Last night In disco" track ended on official cro-a-porter compilation cd(leading fashion event in Croatia). From 2007 to 2008 things really started to speed up, with many more sucssesfull releases for varius Labels like: Ewan music (rising Croatian label), Red session records (Usa), Physical gravity recordings (Uk), Slammin music (Germany) and finally legendary Bonzai Music (Belgium). Many of these newly released track recieved great feedback. Mega man(red session records) (1 Progressivehouse.com charted and supported by Olav Basoski and Glenn Morisson), (Eurospace Ep also became 1 on progressivehouse.com), and finally "Samara" for bonzai music, track which should get released in summer but already got massive folloowing based on myspace listens. Lately he started to work on various other projects like making house remix of Croatian football anthem (Berny & Vedran - Od prve minute) Despite his passion for composing music he is also building a sucssesful dj carerr and has already played in various clubs in Zagreb (CAB Club, Tingl-tangl, Jamaica Bar, Imperijal) and is soon expected to get gigs in various national and international events.
