The band has been around since April 2006. None of the four band members are of “American” origin (three Europeans and a Korean) and the name of our band “Stereotype” is related to this fact. Our foreign origin along with very strong ties to American culture/music made a huge impact on our own music. We were influenced by many different styles of music which we later transformed in our own unique style. We like to call our music “incorporated” due to the fact that every next song we write sounds different from everything we wrote before and because we like to “incorporate” different styles of music within a single song. With our music and socially engaged lyrics about everyday stories we want to make feel good anybody who hears it. Our motto is to spread positive energy. Who ever has heard our music or has seen our show knows what we are talking about.
