Vincent Koelo was born on 21. January 1978. in Novi Sad/Serbia in region Vojvodina. His interests towards music are starting to get a bit more serious in the beginning of his secondary school, when he bought his first guitar. He never attended musical school or took any professional classes in music; he only got help from his friends and a strong will and love for music. Later he got himself in a couple bands playing guitar, singing and writing lyrics. It was all about rock / hard rock. Also in that time, he got his first contact with electronic music. In 1994, he gets a CD Prodigy - “Music For The Jilted Generation“, which delighted him with its sounds. After Prodigy, he discovers the sounds of Leftfield, Orbital, Underworld, etc. In 1998. Appears the opportunity to meet some new people, to go ahead a bit more in discovering music....and life. Then begins his work at the local radio station in his home town Bechej. At that time, he joins a small crew ( Dj Schneider, Dj Deeman) in their show named “Transplant”, which was aired on Wednesday nights from midnight till early morning, it all depended from mood and free will. During “Transplant” at the radio studio was just a couple of people, presenting Goa and Psy trance, house and techno music, announcing upcoming party events, presenting domestic and worldwide known Djs. Later, Dj Faktor X, joins the story, two more shows, at Friday and Saturday nights, giving more space for electronic music. In that period, Koelo buys his first records. From a part of the radio team, arises the association “Energy Culture”, whose work was to promote electronic music DJs and organizing parties. The beginnings of Vincent Koelo’s work with vinyl on turntables was based on progressive – trance and techno sound, after two years he get on deep and progressive house, on which he stayed until now, later adding electro and break beat to his sets. In 2002. Call of duty takes him to Belgrade, fortunately in vinyl surround. Distinctive part of that period was his friendship with Dj Jovan Juroshevic, who was unselfish with his friendship and his knowledge in Dj-ing, and vinyl weekend sessions started. In 2003. He returns home, leaves the “Energy Culture” , starts collaboration on a Dj level with his friend Dj Silvester d`Cat, and Koelo is adding “Into The Groove” to its name. In the period of one year Koelo and d`Cat were well noticed and accepted in the series of cities as Zrenjanin, Kikinda, Kula, Ada, Kanjiza, Novi Sad… In September 2005, Vincent Koelo goes to a six months visit to Hungary. There Koelo started the first of his “Into The Groove” (I.T.G.) promos. Coming back home from Hungary, Koelo meets up with a long time no – see college friend, Dj J.Cobb. Together they started their period of rezidenture in club “Bloody Mary” in Novi Bechej.In May 2006. happened the opportunity to spin at VIP party in the woods near his hometown, with Dj Silvester d’Cat and J.Cobb. That party will be remembered as a party where Koelo spinned the turntables for amazing 17 hours! Later that year two-promo mixes were on the air at the one of the best radio stations in Hungary, “Radio 88”, getting him many positive critics. In 2003. beside music interests, he goes in a way of art design, meaning by that are wallpapers, party flayers, digital photography, etc; and in 2006. Koelo opens a web page at an artist’s community - deviantart.com. In that time, he started to get himself a bit seriously in a way of art and graphic design. There, he meets some great artists from all around the globe and got their friendship and great support for his work. In 2007. Koelo accepts the invitation from “Under+Grad” organization from Senta and becomes their official graphic designer. In october of 2007 Koelo meets up with Miroslav Terzin, a dj and a producer from Kikinda, who got a new radio show "Old Man's Kitchen" at www.danceradio.gr, and so on 17.10.2007. Vincent Koelo's ITG015 promo mix was aired in Terzins show. Koelo finished 2007 with his ITG016 promo and started 2008 working on some new promos and graphic designs with dj Osiris from USA.
